1. How do you charge?

Most work is priced out by the job which there maybe some exceptions. Many paperhangers charge by the roll/yard, however, the trend is changing and many professional paperhangers are now pricing their work by the job.

When you take into consideration the many types of wallcovering/borders that are on the market today several variables must be considered. To name a few:

1. Specific type of wallcovering to name some (prepasted, unpasted, solid vinyl, paperback vinyl, commercial vinyl, silkscreen/Hand-screen printed [pre-trimmed and UN-trimmed] , standard paper, grasscloth, stringcloth, etc)
2. Architectural design (how cut-up the area is).
3. Ceiling Height. (Floor to ceiling)
4. Most importantly, wall preparation.
A professional paperhanger should never jeopardize his reputation by limiting or eliminating the preparation.

NOTE: Each job presents its own unique set of challenges. It is highly recommended when your need calls for a professional paperhanger make an appointment to have the person come to your home to give you an estimate. Having your selection of wallcovering at the time of estimate helps to give a more accurate roll count.
